Your role: As a Senior Portfolio Analyst at Uniper, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing the value and optimizing our power stations across Uniper markets. In this dynamic role, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the power business value chain and refine your skills in optimizing physical assets. Additionally, you will be instrumental in implementing Uniper's new strategic initiatives, particularly in integrating sustainable green assets into our existing portfolio. Optimize all value drivers on asset level through close collaboration with key stakeholders, such as Energy Asset Teams, Power Trading, and Strategic Customer Solutions, for both existing and new assets Lead the review process for power plant running regimes, engaging with relevant stakeholders Provide the best available information on plant availability, including optimal outage planning from both technical and commercial perspectives, marginal costs, and other plant parameters to trading, while ensuring compliance Drive the development and operation of digitization initiatives, optimization tools, and relevant systems (e.g., GENEVA, TPM, 3PM) to enhance Uniper’s ability to market its merchant and contracted assets, products, or services, with a focus on the Mid-term period Manage projects and implement improvement activities related to the physical asset interface with commercial teams Integrate new assets (e.g., batteries, hydrogen) into APM team processes, such as asset position update, and optimization activities Play an active role in enhancing the continuous improvement framework and performance management processes Your profile Hold a university degree in engineering, economics, or comparable studies 3–5 years of relevant working experience in the energy industry, ideally in generation and/or trading Possess excellent knowledge of Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
