Key Responsibilities:
As an Associate in the Trade & Working Capital team, you will support the development of trade and working capital solutions for large corporate clients across the DACH and Nordic regions. You will be responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of clients while contributing to the team’s overall objectives.
Your role will include:
* Assisting senior team members in identifying business opportunities and originating trade and working capital solutions for corporate clients.
* Preparing and presenting client proposals, while supporting the execution of key sales initiatives.
* Managing a set of existing customers and interacting with them regularly to strengthen relationships and ensure business growth.
* Collaborating across internal teams (e.g., Banking, Syndication, Operations, Legal, Compliance, IT) to ensure seamless transaction origination and execution.
* Conducting financial and strategic business analysis to support decision-making.
* Upholding internal governance processes to ensure transparency and control over sales activities.
* Gathering market intelligence and providing client advisory services on trade and working capital matters.
* Representing the company in external activities, supporting branding, recruitment, and thought leadership efforts.
Qualifications & Experience:
* At least 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in trade and working capital solutions or banking.
* Experience in customer-facing roles or sales is preferred.
Education:
* A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
* Other relevant qualifications (e.g., in Law, Engineering, Economics, Math, or Physics) will also be considered.
Skills & Knowledge:
* Strong expertise in trade and working capital products, structures, and markets.
* Fluency in both German and English is required.
* Knowledge of additional languages (particularly Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, or Danish) would be a plus.
Additional Information:
Flexibility to travel and engage in client meetings across the DACH and Nordic regions is required.
