It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing Job Description Summary: The Manager, Benefits is responsible for building and delivering both global and local benefit programs that enhance the employee experience, through support and management of both global and country programs in line with the global total rewards philosophy. This role is highly collaborative and cross-functional, requiring regular communication with customers and stakeholders across the organization. The role will manage benefits brokers, vendors and carrier representative relationships and perform market research and competitive analysis to ensure that Rocket builds an attractive, competitive benefits package globally to support the attraction and retention of our high-performance culture. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Management of the global benefits team - Knowledge of International Benefits including the U.S - Analyze, administer and support benefit programs globally with a focus on competitive programming and compliance for health, welfare, fringe and retirement legislation. Work pro-actively and Contribute to the research, analysis, design and development of global benefit programs consistent with business priorities and total rewards philosophy. Contribute to the development of the Global Benefits strategy. - Successfully lead global programs with relevant experience in program management, data analysis, change management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and measurement of program effectiveness. - Manage global benefit plans and associated provider relationships and oversee the annual renewal cycle. - Ensure country benefit compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; providing expertise related to the regulatory and legal requirements for employee benefit and retirement plans. - Manage benefits administration and billing for all plans globally. This includes obtaining and reconciling invoices, creating finance report requests, and submitting and tracking payments. - Lead new benefit initiatives and manage the implementation processes in partnership with TR team, HR, HRIS, and Payroll colleagues and the business. Under the direction of the Director, Total Rewards, lead benefit-related work involved and implementation of new country setups, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. - Stay informed of changes in benefits market, legislation and compliance and propose changes to plans as required. - Manage and improve benefit program/plan delivery and operational processes by partnering inter-departmentally and globally to upgrade operation efficiency and the employee experience. - Inform and advise HR & business managers on benefit policy and programs. - Responsible for global benefits intranet pages, updating and maintaining all benefit documents and creating engaging and value add content. - Support and promote global wellness programs, events and activities. Required Qualifications: - Significant experience required in a similar role; minimum expected 8 years post bachelor's degree. - Experience of working with a globally matrixed organization. - Strong vendor management skills with the ability to understand contracts, setting of service level agreements and challenging non-compliance. - Experience of managing projects including preparing project plans, timelines and building business cases. - Able to build strong working relationships with teams and key stakeholders on an international basis. - Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. - Previous experience of M&A activity/benefits harmonization. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Workday (or comparable HR System) experience. Preferred Qualifications: - Facility/experience with a breadth of software/benefit administration systems. - Benefits or Rewards Remuneration professional certification or master's degree in business, tax, Human Resources or a related field. - Experience/background with compensation and global mobility a plus.
