Job Description
The Sector Coupling & Industrial Decarbonization Team, as part of the Climate Solutions Growth Enablers, has an opening for the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) Decarbonization Solution Manager role (m/f/d) at our Hamburg or Offenbach location in Germany. The Sector Coupling & Industrial Decarbonization Team is responsible for evaluating industrial energy efficiency and decarbonization projects and driving integrated heating and cooling system opportunities with end customers, globally. The DACH Decarbonization Solution Manager (m/f/d) within this team is responsible for driving industrial decarbonization and sector coupling projects in a market with significant sustainability focus and opportunities. This person is responsible for driving market recognition of the Danfoss portfolio and expertise in providing these systems and solutions. It is critical that you have a deep understanding of mechanical and thermal systems along with a drive to discover, analyze and implement those solutions with OEM and other project partners.
Job Responsibilities
Main responsibilities are:
* Develop contacts and join industry organizations to drive customer engagements, resulting energy audits and energy recovery and integrated systems opportunities
* Drive initial customer discovery conversations, to determine their efficiency, operating cost and sustainability goals for resulting opportunity focus and initial questions leading to concept development and evaluation
* Drive and participate in energy audits for systems technical evaluation of operating conditions
* Develop initial systems concept designs, working with team technical and product experts, along with the economic and ESG business cases for customer evaluation
* Develop and work with industry consulting, OEM equipment and contracting partners to help detailed system design development and implement systems solutions
Background & Skills
You have an engineering degree and HVAC systems technical system design experience.
Additionally, we are looking for:
* Several years of track record in HVAC, energy management and/or industrial facilities management in a sales or marketing role
* GfBU-Zert certification is a plus as well as an MBA degree
* Business fluent German and English skills
* Excellent communication skills as well as technical interest
* Willingness to travel in the DACH region
