Job Description
The Intelligence Automation Centre of Excellence has the assignment to create value by providing automation solutions and simplify the life of our IKEA co-worker, working hand in hand with the business and product teams.
This role includes essential duties and responsibilities:
1. Technology Leadership and Strategy:
o Provide expertise and strategic direction in leveraging UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform for automation solutions.
o Lead initiatives aimed at integrating advanced automation technologies and stay current with latest technology trends in these platforms.
2. Solution Architecture and Framework:
o Evaluate automation solutions to identify the best fit for optimizing business processes using UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform.
o Architect scalable and robust automation solutions, ensuring they are aligned with organizational objectives.
o Develop frameworks for solution delivery, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability across all automation projects
3. Development and Best Practices:
o Develop and promote best practices for automation solutions, focusing on chatbots, test automation, and other advanced technologies.
o Drive the creation of reusable components and provide technical guidance and support for development teams.
o Mentor development teams on best practices and advanced technical concepts to ensure high-quality solutions.
4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
o Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders across business units, including leaders, teams, and third-party vendors.
o Act as a liaison to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved in automation projects.
In this role you will report to our Intelligent Automation Service Area manager in Data & Technology at IKEA Supply.

To be successful in this role, we believe you MUST have:
* Experience:
o Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Power Platform and UiPath platforms.
o Proven leadership in deploying automation solutions with a focus on UiPath and Power Platform, though experience with AI-driven automation solutions is also valuable.
* Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in UiPath (RPA, Document Understanding, Test Automation) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
o Strong expertise in automation technologies, particularly in Conversational Automation (Chatbots) and Test Automation, with a principal focus on cognitive automation technologies.
o Expertise in software development life cycle phases including design, configuration, testing, debugging, and implementation.
o Experience working with programming languages (C# preferred), Python and a good understanding of development concepts and supporting tools such as Git, Visual Studio, Jira, and working with REST APIs.
o Experience with Azure cloud is a plus.
* Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
o Proven track record of delivering large-scale automation projects.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Certifications:
o Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or Azure AI certifications would be advantageous
o UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer/ UiPath RPA Associate Certification.
You should also be able to make advanced technical solutions understood and embraced by both technical and non-technical co-workers.

The position is based in Dortmund, Germany and will require travelling.
