The Audio and Media Technologies division at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS in Erlangen develops world-class audio and speech processing technology. Job Description
We are seeking a Group Leader to lead and develop a team of committed employees in our Communication Acoustics group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or natural sciences, technical computer science, mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
Responsibilities
1. Lead an established research group comprised of scientific engineering professionals and student employees
2. Collaborate with an experienced team to shape the strategic direction of the group
3. Develop a technology and research roadmap leveraging both classic signal processing and AI methods
4. Align the roadmap with the strategy of the division
