Purpose of your Job As our Facility Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and safety of our facility infrastructure. In a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment, your expertise will help maintain an optimal and compliant working environment. You will oversee technical maintenance, infrastructure functionality, and service operations while developing cost-efficient and sustainable solutions. Your Responsibility Facility & Infrastructure Maintenance: Actively inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot facility systems, ensuring all infrastructure remains in top condition and meets regulatory requirements. Proactive Facility Walk-Throughs : Routinely check the premises, physically inspect infrastructure, and take immediate action to resolve potential facility concerns. Maintenance Coordination: Plan, organize, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including service and repair works. Technical Understanding & Repairs: Identify and assess complex technical interdependencies, carry out minor repair and maintenance tasks when needed. Documentation & Tracking: Maintain detailed records of routine maintenance work, ad-hoc repairs, and service reports. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory guidelines in all facility-related operations. Risk Management: Detect and mitigate potential risks to prevent downtime and operational disruptions. Contract Management: Oversee maintenance contracts, including monitoring due dates, renewals, and terminations. Sustainability & Cost Optimization: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to enhance efficiency while maintaining high standards. Infrastructure Monitoring: Supervise critical infrastructure components, including water supply, heating, cooling, gas, and sanitary systems. What you need to succeed A degree or technical qualification in Facility Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related field. Hands-on mentality with the ability to perform minor technical repairs. Several years of experience in facility management, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or highly regulated industries. Strong knowledge of technical building systems (HVAC, water, gas, sanitary, and electrical infrastructure). Experience in contract management and vendor coordination. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and proactive working style. Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken). Why to join Coriolis?
