The Technology Planning & Cooperation Department of our Munich Research Center (MRC) is responsbile for gaining insight into technological development trends in the region of reference (Germany & Austria); keep pace with new technologies, ideas and concepts in the industry; identify key technologies for each domain/product and mange internal controls for technology cooperation in Europe, etc. Join us as a Technology Cooperation Associate (m/f/d) on a Leased Labor contract for 18 months Your mission Focus on scouting potential cooperation partners and contribute to our technology strategy under the guidance of local cooperation managers and technology planners: Keep pace with the cutting edge ICT technologies’ status and trends of leading universities, research institutes, companies and start-ups. Elaborate reports on technologies and relative resources in the relevant domains, publicly funded projects, investments. Take part to the elaboration of the annual cooperation and strategy of each domain. Support on communication with our potential cooperation partners and contribute to our technology strategy, our long-term goals and address partner pain points, concerns, and objectives. Support on establishing network with technical partnerships in Germany, exploring and expanding our opportunity of technology cooperation with potential academic partners such as universities and research institutes and working with teams to develop proposals for research projects. Your areas of expertise At least Master degree in Computer Science/Physics/Electrical/Telecom Engineering or related technical discipline. Ability to interact with all levels within the company and represent the company professionally. Independent, well-organized and structured working style with a hands-on and can-do attitude. Critical thinking skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and independent working capability. Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience in research cooperation, technology transfer, IPR and business negotiation can be considered as a plus. Extensive knowledge and understanding of cutting edge ICT technologies can be considered as a plus. Fluency in German, English, Chinese (Mandarin) is required, working experience with Asian culture will be considered as a plus.
