FORVIA Munich is looking for an intern/working student (m/w/d) in Sales.
Integrated within the sales organization in BMW Customer Business Unit (“CBU”), you will be responsible for the sales development of the assigned portfolio of products within our European division.
You will support the sales team by focusing on the following tasks:
* Work with the Sales Manager and his team on current serial projects.
* Coordinate after training period the contact with all relevant internal departments in order to support the preparation of new quotes and offers.
* Ensure process coherence to group standards to ensure the commercial viability of the offer in preparation.
* Develop appropriate intimacy with your customer contacts: Set up regular visits, build relationships with key staff in the client organization, and monitor customer satisfaction at regular intervals or after each significant step.
* Prepare commercial offers and meet customer deadlines: Take part in defining both the targeted pricing and the negotiation path to convince the customer, and formalize the offer with appropriate wording.
* Serial life: Prepare and negotiate the commercial answers to customer ECRs, track the variable cost margin of the products, prepare and follow up on commercial productivity proposals, and understand and rigorously implement the Sales Administration guidelines & processes for commercial management of spare parts.
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum education level: Business or Engineering Bachelor Degree.
* Fluent in English (B2+), German (B1+) is a plus.
* Interest in technical product and production-related knowhow.
* Good analytical skills and enjoyment in working with calculations and numbers.
* Strong communication and self-structuring skills.
* International mindset.
* Results-oriented, customer-driven, and team player.
