Job Summary:
To support recruitment initiatives throughout the organization and to meet Talent Acquisition needs in an efficient and effective forward-thinking manner. This position will be responsible, under direction of the Talent Acquisition Director, for assisting the EMEA region with the development, improvement and roll out of recruitment strategies and talent acquisition activities and systems. This position will be the subject matter expert on Talent Acquisition systems and processes such as ATS, offer letters, Hogan administration, etc.
Responsibilities:
1. Assists the Talent Acquisition Manager with the development, communication and implementation of recruitment strategies, plans, objectives, processes and systems, ensuring they meet all legislative requirements. Will influence global users to follow processes and systems.
2. In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Manager, will assist in the development of automating processes and systems in order to eliminate or reduce manual processes and tasks.
3. Develops strong relationships with hiring managers and works closely with them to maximize effectiveness of the recruiting process
4. Works with hiring managers to determine core responsibilities of new positions and evaluates existing positions for any changes/additions, ensuring alignment with the recruitment plan, processes and strategies.
5. Proactively develop the applicant pool for potential needs based upon past precedent and forecasted business needs and market conditions.
6. Establishes and maintains CSA Group’s recruitment networking through appropriate professional associations and industry contacts.
7. Works with the hiring managers and HR staff to calibrate candidates, and refine sourcing plan, as necessary.
8. Works to support the company's succession planning process by identifying trends and opportunities.
9. Assists the hiring managers by sourcing and screening qualified candidates by using multiple channels to recruit candidates, which may include target companies, universities, professional associations, industry meetings, diversity organizations, job fairs, internet and employee referrals.
10. Participates in networking events, attend job fairs and off-site recruitment program as a means to obtain a strong pool of candidates and to effectively meet hiring needs (if required)
11. Oversees and coordinates the end to end Talent Acquisition process and candidate experience for assigned Regions and works with other CSA Group staff to ensure support and consistency with the global recruitment process
12. Is the Center of Excellence (COE) for Offer Letters and new hire documentation. Is responsible for creating the processes and templates to be used, by HR staff, for offer letters, internal transfer offers, etc.
13. Participates in various stages of the talent acquisition process, including: sourcing, posting (internal and external), creating advertisements, working with hiring managers to prepare for interviews (e.g. recommending interviewing questions and processes, guidance on setting expectations appropriately, providing feedback, negotiating offers effectively). Preparing staffing reports and metrics, using ATS systems to filter and streamline, candidate assessments, administering any tests if applicable, preparing offer letters and conducting reference checks, etc.
14. Is responsible for coordinating and managing global Talent Acquisition systems such as the Hogan Assessment site, Background Verifications and Exit interview processes, etc.
15. Coordinates and manages job postings on external sites (LinkedIn et al) and on our internal sites (e.g. Communities of Interest). Works with vendors to have CSA Group staff training on systems so that jobs can be posted by Regional HR staff.
16. Provide regular updates to Director, Talent Acquisition, on recruiting and candidate status. Provides consistent follow up with internal management and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process
17. Works with Marketing to coordinate the online and company web-sites for recruitment, including an Applicant Tracking System, social media and CSA Group as an employer of choice.
18. Assists with the development, coordination and delivery of recruitment related training.
19. New hire on-boarding and orientation – assists with the development and implementation of new hire on-boarding and orientation, coordinating with manager(s) to prepare for new staff arrivals and participate in orientation where required.
20. Provides support to align the overall talent acquisition strategies and framework with the company structure, direction and goals.
21. Assists with producing presentations and materials as required.
22. Prepares reports and metrics as required.
Education and Experience:
23. Post-secondary education in business or Human Resources
24. HR or Talent Acquisition designation highly desirable
25. Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources role with exposure to Talent Acquisition sourcing and coordination.
