As an HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy of our German team. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, from strategic initiatives to administrative tasks, and the opportunity to advise both employees and management on all HR matters. Your reporting line with be a combination of the Head of People & Culture based in Amsterdam and the local Management. Develop and Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy Serve as the key link between management and employees, addressing needs, grievances, and concerns. Lead the recruitment and selection process for Edge Germany. Drive employee development and foster a positive work culture. Oversee and optimize the annual performance management process. Coordinate employer branding activities in Germany, in collaboration with our Dutch branding team. Provide expert guidance on employee relations, well-being, insurance, performance management, and development. Handle HR administration, including payroll (in collaboration with an external provider), absence management, and health insurance. Support leadership on all HR-related matters. Ensure clear and effective internal HR communication. Guarantee legal compliance with labor laws and regulations. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration or similar At least 5 years of experience in a similar HR role, e.g. HR Business Partner Knowledge of the German Labor Market, Laws and Trends Preferably, experience in internal corporate communications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills in both German and English Service-oriented and people-focused.
