For our Motion Lab Team in Munich we are looking for a
System Engineer/ Expert- Suspension (m/f/x)
Responsibilities:
* Develop and optimize suspension systems, including fully active and semi-active systems.
* Develop key functions for suspension systems, including functions for active actuators.
* Manage requirements, defining and harmonizing them between stakeholders (e.g., experience manager, production, service, hardware, vehicle dynamics, software).
* Define the overall system and function architecture.
* Ensure the maintainability of developed systems and define related functions.
* Manage the creation of test cases to ensure 100% coverage of requirements.
* Execute and support system calibration, system integration tests, and system function optimization.
* Perform sizing and basic dimensioning of relevant system components.
* Manage suppliers, including tracking and communication.
Qualifications:
* 5 or above years of experience in developing fully active suspension systems.
* Solid ability to develop functions related to vertical vehicle dynamics (damping, height, stiffness, vertical force).
* Good experience in system integration testing.
* Excellent driving skills under test conditions.
* Proficient in the professional abilities required for main active suspension products.
* Familiarity with the ASPICE system and experience in its implementation.
* Ideally proficient in Matlab Simulink, INCA, CAN Analyzer, and other software tools.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Understanding of underlying software and familiarity with AUTOSAR or other automotive operating systems is preferred.
* Good knowledge of standard software requirement management tools (Doors, Polarion, Jira, Confluence).
* Experience in project life cycle management with a global team.
* Good communication skills in English; proficiency in German is plus.
