Job Description : Market Manager Automotive Europe (m/f/d) Huntsman has an opportunity for an enthusiastic Market Manager Automotive Europe (m/f/d) with a strong passion for strategy, market development, and the automotive industry. While we offer some flexibility in location, the preferred base for this role is Frankfurt am Main. Reporting to the European Marketing Director, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of the global marketing strategy, including understanding and engaging with the automotive value chain, customer and market segmentation, innovation, and portfolio management within your region. Support cross functional team to build a competitive advantage and increase profitability of the business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a competitive advantage and enhance business profitability. Additionally, you will drive strategy execution in Europe (regional 5P plan) while working closely with R&D, Sales, and Supply Chain. The Market Manager (m/f/d) will be responsible for identifying, creating, and developing new growth opportunities within the automotive sector at a regional level. You will work closely with R&D, TS&D, and the sales organization to define the value proposition of our technology offerings and develop market strategies for technology and product launches. As a member of the Global Automotive Marketing Team, you will collaborate with global automotive marketers to build a robust pipeline of growth projects, gather data to support growth potential, and analyse risks. You will also contribute to prioritization and resource allocation decisions to help achieve growth objectives. As the Market Manager Automotive (m/f/d), you will: Lead regional strategy follow up and execution in Europe through collaboration a cross-functional Automotive team. Use market data and insights, and customer interviews to identify, develop and secure opportunities in new, attractive, yet unaddressed markets in the automotive industry. Lead specific innovation projects focused on entering new markets or developing and launching disruptive innovations within the automotive industry and bringing these to commercialization. Identify commercial and technical requirements to be able to enter and capture growth and value within those new markets. Influence, mobilize and drive a cross functional team (no direct reports) around new market opportunities and their development. Complete strong project management to secure structured planning, milestones and timely progress until launch. Maintain and develop a strong industry network. Skills & Experience Required: Degree qualified, with prior experience in a strategic marketing role focused on new market identification and entry. Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of B2B business models, ideally within the chemical, automotive, or industrial sectors. Proven track record in creating new business opportunities and supporting the commercialization of new products in previously untapped markets. Strong communicator with the ability to influence cross functional teams to support the development of new projects within our innovation pipeline. A strong entrepreneurial and result driven attitude with a clear understanding of how cross departmental efforts contribute to new product innovations. Fluent in English and German.
