Your main duties will be: Co-design and implement ISCC’s strategy in providing certification solutions for the aviation and maritime sectors Co-lead the development of the ISCC CORSIA system in view of relevant legislative and market requirements Provide technical expertise to develop ISCC’s other certification standards (ISCC EU, ISCC PLUS) in view of emerging legislative and market requirements of the aviation and maritime sectors (e.g., in terms of certification requirements and procedures) Evaluate and monitor international legislations relevant to ISCC’s work in aviation and maritime (e.g., ICAO CORSIA, US low carbon fuel standards, IMO LCA Guidelines, etc.) Support ISCC’s work in voluntary markets for SAF and SMF (e.g., developing ISCC’s book and claim solutions) Manage own team, including feedback and development discussions, to achieve high performance, a productive and collaborative work environment and good team spirit Contribute to ISCC EU controlling, including setting up relevant KPIs Manage and optimize processes in the Aviation & Maritime team Represent ISCC in relevant fora (conferences, events, etc.) Co-lead ISCC stakeholder activities for the markets of aviation and maritime (e.g., new stakeholder committees) Support conducting relevant trainings (e.g., ISCC CORSIA training) Carry out benchmarking with other certification systems to continuously develop ISCC Develop and manage pilot projects with key partners to create certification solutions for new fuels and supply chain set-ups Provide technical support with regard to ISCC certification requirements to ISCC system users in a timely and professional manner Your profile University degree in bioenergy, chemistry, circular economy, bioeconomy, environmental studies, business management, economics, law or similar At least 3 years postgraduate professional experience At least 2 year postgraduate professional experience in relevant field (e.g., sustainable fuels, circular economy, GHG calculations) At least 2 year professional experience in a leading role Preferred: experience with sustainability certification, labels and/or relevant sustainability legislation in aviation and/or maritime transport Proven professional experience in project management Excellent communication skills in an international environment with stakeholders at all levels Excellent language skills in English (at least C1) and good German (at least B2), additional language skills will be of advantage Service-oriented thinking and excellent networking capability, especially in international environments Very strong presentation skills as well as the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms and to prepare professional presentations according to target group General IT proficiency and very good working knowledge in databases and MS Office High degree of initiative and very good decision-making ability combined with an independent working style and pragmatic, hands-on attitude Willingness to contribute to the continuous improvement process and to drive change Willingness and ability to travel internationally Why us?
