For our Institutional Sales Team in Frankfurt, we are looking for an experienced Client Advisor (m/f/d) – Executive Director Role Description and Functions This position represents the opportunity to build and sustain client relationships within the German Institutional Business of JPMAM. The Client Advisor’s responsibility involves a complex client set with ambitious growth and business retention targets. In that, the candidate works jointly and closely with in the sales team and across business lines in defining and successfully pursuing the client coverage strategy. Major Responsibilities Significantly growing a book of business and retaining existing clients. This entails working closely with business development, client services as well as colleagues across JPMAM including various divisions within the Commercial & Investment Bank, Asset Management, and Treasury and Security Services. Ownership of significant revenue targets and responsibility for managing an individual sales pipeline from opportunity through to execution. Ability to identify any investment strategy, product, service, operational, client coverage gaps and take the lead in ensuring resolution. Working closely with the wider European and Global Institutional Team, our Global Insurance Solutions team as well as all product groups across JPMAM to create and deliver compelling investment solutions. Coordinate and work jointly with JPMAM’s funds and ETF sales team Professional Candidate Profile Several years of experience in a sales position in the asset management sector, investment consultancy, investment banking or similar roles covering the German institutional market Successful and reliable track record of fund raising across asset classes Deep understanding of equity, fixed income and alternative markets and their medium to long-term drivers Thorough knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework for institutional investors in Germany Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients Excellent German and English language skills University degree in Economics/ Finance/ Business Administration or similar CFA, CAIA desired Personal Candidate Profile Excellent sales skills with strong business development ability Strong team player with intercultural thinking and ambition to share knowledge in a global organisation Self-starter with hands-on mentality Empathic and strong personal presence Highly organised and achievement oriented, knowing how to set priorities right Comfortable in delivering excellent results within tight deadlines Ability to work effectively across other groups, global regions and lines of business
