Business Development Manager - Charging Solutions
iO Associates is partnered with a leading provider of innovative solutions for the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging industry, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our client's business in the electric vehicle charging systems market.
Required Qualifications:
1. At least 5-7 years of technical sales experience with Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions or Battery Energy Storage solutions
2. Excellent understanding of the sales, business development, and account management processes
3. Technical knowledge of Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions, Power Conditioning Systems, and Battery Energy Storage Systems
4. Ability to build strong customer relationships
5. Strong legal understanding of contracts and the ability to negotiate
6. Fluency in English and German
Responsibilities:
7. Analyse the development and understand the nature of the Electric Vehicle Charging Systems market ecosystem
8. Construct, in accordance with your analysis, business development strategies and sales plans
9. Identify and report business opportunities in the targeted segments: EV OEM, Utility, Charging Point Operator
10. Develop strong relationships with key customers by acting as an account manager
11. Coordinate and manage technical and commercial bid preparation
12. Negotiate contracts and ensure legal compliance
13. Manage pipeline projects and ensure their successful execution
14. Achieve sales targets and revenue as defined by the business leadership
15. Represent our client during conferences, trade shows, and industry networking events in Germany
16. Interact with management across our client's organization
