Your responsibilities Develop a global strategy and long-term roadmap for specific categories by collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand needs and business objectives. Conduct detailed demand, spend, cost (TCO), and market analysis, with a focus on sustainability, benchmarking, and maintaining knowledge of industry trends and economic indicators. Develop and implement global procurement sourcing strategies, including driving tenders (RFX) for polymers manufacturing and/or contract manufacturing suppliers. Lead contractual negotiations with suppliers, including proposal analysis using costing tools and leveraging external commodity indexes. Manage supplier relationships, including conducting Quarterly Business Reviews, implementing Supplier Development Programmes, and defining and tracking Key Performance Metrics (KPIs). Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. That's you Over 6 years of relevant procurement experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain within a fast-paced environment. Ability to provide direction and strategy to cross-functional teams, presenting and justifying projects with critical analysis and procurement recommendations. Comfortable participating in technical discussions; proficiency in reading technical drawings and product specifications is a plus. Experienced in project management, working with cross-functional teams from R&D, Engineering, Quality, Legal, and Supply Chain departments. Strong knowledge of Category Management framework and proven experience in creating category strategies, with a hands-on and self-motivated mindset. Analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel, along with excellent communication (PowerPoint) and negotiation skills, and familiarity with agile/hybrid working environments. Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in procurement processes, fostering a culture of excellence and staying ahead of industry trends.
