Summary
We are looking for an "FPGA Developer for Camera Systems (f/m/d)" for the "Smart Sensors" division at the Oberkochen or Taufkirchen site as soon as possible.
The "Smart Sensors" department develops imaging sensors, active sensors and warning sensors. These are sensitive in the visual to infrared spectral range and are used for reconnaissance and target detection in civilian and military applications.
The "Sensor Electronics and Hardware" team is responsible for the electronics and software of these sensors. Other teams in the division are responsible for technical management, optical and mechanical design and the corresponding sensor measurement technology.
Your Tasks
1. Requirements analysis and conception of FPGA architectures as well as implementation on hardware platforms for visual and infrared camera systems
2. Design of FPGA modules based on the requirements
3. Making strategic implementation decisions
4. Programming and simulation of FPGA modules
5. Supervision of internal and external development partners and integration of development results
6. Creation and implementation of integration and system tests
7. Definition and documentation of hardware and software interfaces
8. Hardware-related programming of the FPGA interface in C / C++
9. Documentation of the design and development
Your Profile
10. Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer engineering, communications engineering or comparable
11. Experience with systems-on-chip, preferably Xilinx-Zynq UltraScale+ series and Xilinx Vivado Design Suite or similar platforms
12. Experience in signal processing and digital image processing
13. Programming knowledge in software development under Linux for hardware-related platforms
14. Very good knowledge of VHDL and Verilog for FPGA programming
15. Analytical thinking skills and willingness to take on personal responsibility
16. Team player with strong social skills and enthusiasm
17. Innovative spirit and creativity
18. Good knowledge of German and English
