Our client, for whom we are looking for a Logistics Manager (full-time job) is the subsidiary in Ingolstadt of a world-renowned and highly successful automotive supplier.
Qualifications and knowledge:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or a related
* Previous experience >5years in automotive company
* Experience in team management
* Advanced level of German and English
* Excellent communication and organisational skill
Duties and responsibilities:
* Familiar with VW/Audi system like EDI,Call-off.,etc
* Design, maintenance and development of logistics and material management system
* Optimisation and continuous improvement of material flow, transport and warehouse technology
* Production plan preparation and control
* Responsibility for inventory management, FIFO control
* Adapting organisational tasks to the changing needs of internal and external customers
* Control, development of KPI indicators, operational and strategic objectives
* Monitoring logistics planning (production planning, raw material purchasing, transportation management)
* Evaluation and improvement of assets, machinery and warehouse efficiency
* Participation in new projects
* Relations with customers, suppliers
* Cooperation with cross departments (Production/Quality Dept/Purchasing) and inter-companies
* Team management, staff planning and development
* Budget planning and cost responsibility, investment planning
* Reporting
