Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement cutting-edge automated solutions with our suppliers to optimize and develop Marine Automation and Diagnostic Solutions.
* Combine your expertise in software development, diagnostic protocols, and automation solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our automation systems.
* Technically steer and collaborate with key suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
* Utilize programming languages (C, C++, C#) to achieve results and promote reusability of scripting.
* Develop embedded software and PLC programs for Automation devices.
* Create Software Requirement Specifications.
* Design and implement complex software architectures.
* Apply functional safety standards (e.g. IEC61508) in the software development process.
* Re-engineering of existing software/tools.
* Integration of software modules with hardware for devices & systems.
Key Experiences and Qualifications:
* Diploma or Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Automation Engineering.
* 2 years professional experience in Software Development.
* Ability to work independently.
* Knowledge of state of the art and current standards (e.g. ISO 9001, IEC 61508).
* Extensive experience in software development processes.
* Experience in software modelling (e.g. UML and OO methods).
* Experience in C, C++ and PLC (IEC61131-3) programming languages.
* Experience with (embedded) operating systems (e.g. QNX, OSEK, Linux and Windows).
* Deep understanding of marine automation and diagnostic environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and dedicated development mindset.
* A passion for the energy transition and marine software.
* Excellent communication skills.
