Your mission As the CEO at mula, you will play a key role in realizing our goal to become the most digitally integrated B2B merchandise platform in Europe. You will take full responsibility for the business and lead the management team across product & tech, sales & marketing, supply chain & procurement, warehouse & logistics, and finance & HR. Your role • Lead the organization by driving strategy, vision, growth, and profitability while aligning with company goals. • Guide the executive team, ensuring each department works towards the company’s strategic objectives. • Shape the business model, evolving the company's products and services to meet market needs and seize new opportunities. • Represent the company at industry events, public forums, and with key stakeholders to strengthen our brand and market positioning. • Cultivate a company culture that values innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. Your tasks • Oversee the entire service offering and internal processes, ensuring high-quality standards, cost-effectiveness, and profitability. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders. • Support developing our platform and overall technology to improve our processes continuously. • Monitor and assess market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform product development and business strategy. • Collaborate closely with department heads (sales, tech, supply chain, operations) to ensure cross-functional alignment and execution of strategic initiatives. • Drive company performance through effective financial management and resource allocation. • Mentor and empower the leadership team, fostering an environment that values communication, continuous improvement, and innovation. Your profile • Minimum of six years of executive leadership experience in the merchandise, production, or distribution industries. • Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies in dynamic and competitive markets. • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration across sales, technology, procurement, and logistics. • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, global distribution networks, and technology-driven business models. • Fluent in English and German, with strong communication and presentation skills. • Excellent communication and public speaking skills, representing the company effectively in various settings. • Highly analytical and data-driven decision-making approach, focusing on scalability and operational excellence. • Proven adaptability to changing market conditions and experience in leading through periods of growth and transformation. • Collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and building a culture of trust and innovation. • Authenticity and openness —We value leaders who are genuine and true to themselves—authenticity is in our DNA Nice to Have • Experience leading a company with a technology product • Prior experience in a mid-sized (40 employees) company, managing operational and strategic aspects. • Understanding B2B e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and API integrations. • Relevant industry certifications or participation in executive training programs.
