TheCommercial Director DACH for Leica Biosystems is responsible todeliver budgeted performance through developing and implementing anintegrated growth strategy for the full LBS product portfolio forthe DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region. Increase marketshare through effective market leadership and developing andgrowing our associates. This position ispart of the Sales Organisation located in EMEAand will be fully remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is toadvance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, youwill have the opportunityto:
* Deliver budgetedperformance through achieving or exceeding planned growth for allproduct lines within the DACHregion.
* Develop andexecute a sales strategy with a thoughtful and solid approach tothe market potential and growth objectives. Develop and deliverwinning regional sales plans, Focusing on key account strategiesand effective stakeholdermanagement.
* Own theregional DACH forecast through rigorous funnel management andopportunity review. Using best practices for KPI measurement, trackmajor objectives weekly/monthly/quarterlyfor review with the VP of Commercial, ensuring consistency andalignment with other regions for continuity of datareporting
* Oversee andenforce elite selling practices, key account management,competitive selling and hunting/prospecting skills. Scrutinize andapprove long term contracts and quotations for compliance withbusiness policies. Monitor contract performance, with close watchon compliance, and negotiation for long term relationships that arebeneficial to both LBS and thecustomer
* Attract andretain a top performing team, focused on a holistic sense ofaccountability to the entirety of the customer relationship.Develop direct reports with an active succession plan in place andoversee the performance for growth process with the wholeteam
* Develop and driveeffectiveness of a best in class Service & Customer Care team,fostering a customer centric organization with a continuousimprovementculture.
Theessential requirements of the job include:
* Bachelor’s degree isrequired – preferable with a sciences or healthcarere
* Demonstrated success in leading commercialteams preferably in the healthcare sector, managing both long- andshort-term business cycle through effective funnel managementpractices.
* Proven track record of managingcomplex key accounts and effectively implementing winning keyaccount management practices.
* In-depthexperience with sales methods, policies, processes, tools andprocedures. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team, in afast paced and dynamic environment
* Excellentand proven analytical capabilities and financial acumen in complexenvironments
* Proven track record as adeveloping and enabling people manager
* Provenability to work with German WorksCouncils
