The Labor & Employee Relations Leader (m/f/d) is responsible for establishing and implementing best practices to all aspects of employee relations across the business and partnering with our expert Human Resources team and business leaders across SCIEX in Europe.
Lead the Labor & Employee Relations (L&ER) strategy and execution for SCIEX in Euroope to ensure we have an aligned strategy between employee needs and business outcomes and partner with a team of Subject Matter Experts.
Embed and localize best in class approaches to employee relations, delivering consistency and effectiveness of process and employee experience and partner with relevant business partners on ground-breaking change implementations including process, systems, and governance, including supporting major projects like restructuring and mergers and acquisitions.
Ensure inclusion, equity, and diversity is at the forefront of everything we do and engrained in our employee life cycle (including engagement/culture etc.) Support the triage for investigations across SCIEX in partnership with the Compliance Leader and Human Resources to determine the appropriate investigation protocol based on the nature of the concerns being raised.
Create and manage global labor and employe relations dashboard to provide meaningful insights and market data/trends that support business growth and decision making and provide oversight and management of outside counsel spend/budget.
Experienced lawyer with multiple years of business experience in an industrial global enterprise with extensive & demonstrated L&ER expertise and leadership experience.
Broad strategic view of labor issues throughout EMEA with strong business acumen and an ability to understand all SCIEX business strategies and plans.
Proactive collaborative approach to Works Councils and employee representation bodies to be ahead of issues and most importantly knows how to support the business through strong relationships.
Ability to drive clear communication and engagement at all levels including C-Suite, and present data in a clear and concise manner with ability to influence change - well developed influencing and negotiation skills.
Effective consultant with demonstrable global project/program management ability.
