The role requires strategic and detail-oriented knowledge of German banking regulations, including MaRisk and EBA. The candidate should also possess skills in third-party management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities * Monitor and manage outsourced services to ensure performance, efficiency, and alignment with regulatory requirements. * Maintain an inventory of outsourced activities and service providers. * Establish and oversee contractual agreements, ensuring clear SLAs, KPIs, exit strategies, and compliance requirements. * Conduct periodic performance reviews and manage relationships with service providers. * Provide support for ongoing Risk Management activities as needed.Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management * Ensure full compliance with MaRisk and other relevant regulations such as EBA Guidelines on outsourcing arrangements. * Collaborate with business units and third parties. * Scrutinize regulatory changes in relation to outsourcing and perform risk assessments on outsourced activities, performing materiality analysis, and identifying and mitigating potential risks. * Develop and maintain a robust risk management framework for outsourced services.Audit, Documentation & Reporting * Prepare detailed reports on outsourcing activities for internal stakeholders and regulators. * Pursue comprehensive documentation of outsourcing processes, audits, and compliance checks.Incident & Contingency Planning * Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external outsourcing-related queries. * Develop exit strategies for potential disruptions in outsourced services.Qualifications and Requirements for Candidates * Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or related fields. A Master's degree (MBA or MSc) in Finance, or a related field/discipline is preferred, but not obligatory. * Professional Experience: o Outsourcing & Risk Manager: 5+ years in outsourcing, banking compliance, and risk management. o Outsourcing & Risk Specialist: 2-5 years in the same fields. * Languages: Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
