Step into an exciting leadership role as an Associate Commercial Director Perfumery & Beauty at dsm-firmenich! Your key responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a strategic vision to grow the business in a profitable and sustainable way in the region
2. Execute and implement a forward-thinking business strategy, manage commercial agreements, lead client projects, negotiate key contracts, and oversee the entire value chain to drive innovation and maximize business vitality and customer satisfaction in line with management expectations
3. Lead all commercial activities within the field of responsibility, including global strategy deployment, budget monitoring, continuous improvement initiatives, adherence to sales and pricing practices, and participation in local management
4. Establish and maintain strong client relationships, negotiate favourable commercial terms, and proactively address client needs to unlock new business opportunities and secure dsm-firmenich as a key partner
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create holistic value propositions, manage the product lifecycle, and ensure high levels of service and supply chain efficiency
6. Build and develop a successful team aligned with business objectives through onboarding, performance evaluation, fostering team spirit, and effective communication of corporate and business dynamics

You bring:
13. Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent (business administration, economics, marketing or science)
14. Minimum of 5-7 years of flavor/fragrance/ingredient successful sales experience, successful sales/marketing experience in FMCG
15. Minimum 3 to 5 years management position
16. Ability to drive for results, with a competitive mindset
17. Complex negotiations skills both internal and external
18. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
19. Client-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
20. Strategic thinking and ability to see the big picture
21. Computer literacy - fluent in English and German language
