This is an exciting opportunity for a technical enthusiast who takes and creates ownership of the global competence development of our Service Division.
Your mission will become the connection point between R&D, Product Management, Innovation Centre and Service to provide technical competence activities for our field service engineers and trainers worldwide. This will be driven by you through alignment activities, creation of training materials, and by orchestrating training sessions.
We are looking for a passionate person with interpersonal skills, a digital mindset who thrives on developing excellent technical competence. A technical spirit and high level of energy, a strong interest in meeting people and learning cultures. A person with a passion to develop others, to see them grow, and with a strong belief that “everyone can learn and develop”.
What will you do?
1. Be a part of the Global Competence Development Team.
2. Become a team member in the development and creation of training materials in cooperation with the R&D department, Product Management, Innovation Centre, and the Global Competence Development Team.
3. Independent preparation and execution of technical trainings for our Service technicians and trainers globally. (Virtually and Classroom)
4. Support Engineers and Trainers in our Customer Centeres in their competence development.
5. Create, develop and record individual assessments related to competence requirements.
6. Ensure safe working materials and methods are adapted and training provided to support safe working practices.

9. You have a strong and solid technical education background.
10. You are proud of being an expert with profound knowledge of the product and projects you support.
11. You love to spread your knowledge and experiences to others and see them grow. And you have the willingness to travel globally between 15-30%.
12. Ideally you already have solid technical background and knowledge of IAS products or Atlas Copco Fastening systems.
13. You have a good understanding of customer center’s service activities.
14. You speak and write fluently in English.
