Your Role As the Tender Manager for our Road Logistics business unit in Europe, you will play a pivotal role in driving the profitability and top line growth of our operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies, managing tender processes, and leading a team of Tender & Pricing specialists to ensure competitive and profitable pricing for our Road Logistics services. Your Responsibilities Pricing Strategy Development: Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with business objectives, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to optimize revenue and profitability. Tender Management: Lead the tender process from start to finish, including analyzing tender documents, preparing pricing proposals, negotiating terms and conditions, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis, including benchmarking against competitors, tracking industry trends, and evaluating customer needs, to inform pricing decisions and strategies. Profitability Analysis: Analyze pricing performance and profitability metrics, identify areas for improvement, and recommend pricing adjustments or cost-saving initiatives to enhance profitability. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, operations, finance, and other departments to align pricing strategies with business goals, ensure seamless execution of pricing initiatives, and support customer retention and acquisition efforts. People Management: Lead and develop a team of pricing specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support to enhance their skills, performance, and career growth. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize pricing effectiveness across the organization. Your Skills and Experiences A minimum of 5 years of project management experience. Exceptional leadership, time management, and organizational skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Experience in Road Logistics is required. Fluent English and additional languages are a plus. Proven experience in pricing, tender management, or related roles within the logistics or transportation industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
