In this position you will be responsible for: Spare Part Business: Close cooperation with colleagues in the Spare Part Sales Support Spare Part Sales team with transportation cost for offers Preparation of export/import documentation: customs declarations, certificates of origin, invoices (customs related, milestone-invoices and/or final commercial invoices), packing lists (in SAP) Review of packages received from vendor, neutralization and re-packing as far as required (physically or in cooperation with an external packing company) Review the clients’ orders in relation to the international shipments (e.g. applicable incoterms, mode of transport) Arranging transport for spare parts - couriers, air freights, occasionally sea freights Check and prepare internal invoices for transportation and material packing Interface to the internal Compliance Officer for spare part shipments Customs related topic: Taking the position as customs officer (“Zollbeauftrager”) being the main contact to customs authorities including responsibility for the respective internal procedures Processing export and import customs clearances for Air Liquide Global E&C Germany, but as well as for affiliates doing business in Germany including special customs procedures (i.e. inward processing, temporary imports, Carnet A and preferential origin) Verification of HS codes declared by the vendors Preparation for AEO audits by customs authorities Reporting functions and other tasks Filling the statutory reporting linked to international trade of goods (Intrastat, CBAM, Lucid and others) Obtaining, checking and archiving the documentation linked to international trade Representation towards Chamber of Commerce Cooperation with and support of internal departments (e.g. finance, IT, project and proposal management) and external project logistics team in regard to transport and customs needs Interface to the external Risk Prevention Officer Reporting line & localisation: Reporting line to the Head of Logistics Europe This role is located in Frankfurt /Main, Germany Are you a match? Competencies and Profile: Bachelor degree in Logistics, Economics, International Trade or similar qualification Experience in international business environment Minimum 3 years of experience in function related to international trade Good knowledge of international trade principles and tax aspects in international trade Very good proficiency in English; knowledge of other language would be an asset Proficiency in spreadsheets, SAP knowledge would be an asset Self-reliance, accuracy, ability to work under time pressure and aim-oriented approach What makes us special | Our Benefits The position of the International trade & logistics coordinator comprises of a variety of business activities including handling the documentation and transportation belonging to the international spare part business, customs related topics in the company, interface to the external risk prevention officer (“externer Gefahrgutbeauftragter”) and support for foreign entities doing business in Germany in regards to customs and international trade.
