Factory Procurement Leader (m/w/d) We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our Team at our location in Salzkotten, Germany Responsibilities: - Team management at Site level - Market research for suppliers across region (Mechanical/Electronics) - Supplier selection and evaluation for category globally advised - Support on Global Categories globally managed and PPV project deployment under the dottel line GCM lead of site team member - Supplier Relationship management - Negotiation and contract closure to kick off project - Support NPI - Project Management for development projects - PPV / VAVE projects funnel building & execution to improve OMX - Overall supporting global VNT category management strategies. Align to site/regional adjustments and collaborate to enable OMX and WCX - Leading DM for sourcing team - On-time fulfilment of all sourcing related tasks like NPI, Alternate supplier development with competitive cost within agreed time frame along with cross functional team expectation, PPV review, supplier consolidation, support to operations on supplier issues and resolution for fulfilment of customer orders - Supplier capacity improvement, ramp up / ramp down strategy to avoid obsolescence (scrap) - Developing strategies like spend management, supplier rationalization, MSA sign off. Tool budget preparation, CAR approval for new projects, etc. - Handling Engineering change management effectively to avoid obsolescence and production issues - Support operations to meet revenue targets by enhancing supplier capacity and deliveries as per S&OP - Supplier performance monitoring on QCD metrics and taking counter measures - Supplier relationship management - Tender cost workout and exploring opportunities for further reduction based on tender winning cost - Supporting the ERP project change - BE (Mechanical/Electronics) preferred - Round about 10 or more years of experience in the direct material account - MBA in Supply Chain & Operations - CPSM or any other global supply chain certification - In depth knowledge on Mechanical / EMS industry/Engineering Product - Negotiation and contract finalization - Interpersonal skills - Problem solving and strong analytical skills - Team management / building, Talent Development - Crucial conversations - Project Management - Ability to use VBS lean management tools The world depends on Gilbarco Veeder-Root products to stay moving.
