PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION
To design market right products for assigned projects as part of an international design team in cooperation with marketing and development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design and develop creative solutions to concepts within the assigned category or specialty area or project. Present the designs in context to the category direction .
2. Implement the creative vision in a product range for the category.
3. Self-Manage own creative process and execute towards given design languages within the category.
4. Execute design work according to the visual language of adidas as well as given Corporate Identity guidelines according to legal guidance.
5. Verbally present product ideas and details with clarity
6. Ensure efficient process and communication flow between design, marketing and development (within x- functional team) for all issues regarding the designed ranges and products
7. Ensure proper handover of sketches into development. Main duty is to submit all relevant information needed for the development process such as sketches, detail sketches, fabric and trim indication, artworks …
8. Visualize ideas for products and ranges with a high degree of expertise.
9. Creating 3D concept representation, 3D assets, digital product information for an accurate development and decision-making process

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
13. Strong knowledge of fashion design/industrial product or industrial design
14. Strong presentation and communication skills
15. Good knowledge of product development, material and trims for assigned product range

17. High level of creativity
18. Knowledge and use of Macintosh computer design software/systems (Photoshop, Illustrator)
19. Fluent in English (spoken and written)
20. Strong 3D skills and knowledge of virtual tools are required
APP tools: Clo3D, Browzwear, VStitcher or similar 3D fashion design tools
FTW tools: Rhino, Modo, ICAD Pro, or similar 3D design tools
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
21. Bachelor degree (B.A.) from a college or university, major Design or industrial product enginering
22. 3 years of practical experience in design environment (Footwear/ Apparel/ Accessories - or industrial design, fashion design or similar design related areas)
