Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled International Tax Specialist with a focus on Value Added Tax (VAT) and Tax Technology. The Tax Specialist will be part of our Group Tax and Legal department, reporting into the Director Group Taxes & Legal, with the aim to support our more than 60 European entities (Factories, Sales companies, R&D Centers and Innovation/Investment Center) in VAT and Tax Technology related matters. This position can be based out of Nieuw-Vennep (The Netherlands, Amsterdam area), Soest (Germany), Argenteuil (France, Paris area). Key Responsibilities: 1. VAT Compliance and Advisory: Provide expert advice on VAT regulations and compliance requirements across various EU jurisdictions with focus on cross border aspects (EU & non-EU) for goods and services Optimize and monitor VAT structures, especially chain transactions with EU VAT laws Cooperate with the Data Governance Organization to structure VAT determination in SAP No operational VAT compliance intended but possible (e.g. monthly VAT filing) 2. Tax Technology Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tax technology solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax reporting and compliance (e.g. SAP S4/Hana in relation to tax ledger, e‑invoicing & e-reporting (ViDA), transfer price documentation) Stay updated on the latest tax technology trends and tools, providing insights on how they can be leveraged to improve tax processes We offer: Hybrid work schedule & a focus on work life balance Attractive employment conditions Possibilities for personal development in an international work setting Skills & Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Finance, Accounting, or a related field Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in international tax, with a strong focus on VAT in the EU Experience with tax technology solutions and their application in VAT compliance and reporting of taxes Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously Fluency in English is required (C1) Willingness to travel from time-to-time EU-wide ( Interaction and cooperation with external consultants as well as head offices in Amsterdam, Norway and Japan Nice-to-have: Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. CTA, CPA) is a plus Strong MsExcel skills or SAP skills Coding Skills in Python or any other programming language Dutch, Norwegian, French, German or Japanese language (B1) About the company Lay the groundwork for tomorrow with Kubota Since 1890, Kubota has evolved in a unique way worldwide.
