What you will work on Your mission Lead Root's growth in Germany by managing local teams, closing deals with key processors, fostering relationships with key stakeholders across the industry, and exploring new opportunities within untapped verticals. Over the next months you will… Lead the execution of the GTM strategy in Germany to grow Root's presence, focusing on further market penetration, maximizing revenue within key accounts, and identifying new opportunities for expansion into untapped market segments. Close deals and manage key processors in Germany by closely working with them to understand their needs, building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels (incl. farmers, executives, and government employees), and participating in key industry events and fairs. Align, manage, and build the teams responsible for German clients, ensuring efficient and effective execution of their tasks to achieve the desired results. Align proactively with the co-founder (Maurice Hensl) and other European country leads on progress in Germany, sharing market insights, individual market characteristics, and best practices. Mentor new and existing team members and foster a culture of continuous learning within the company. What you bring along Leverage 5 years of experience in fast-paced environments, combined with a charismatic, street-smart nature demonstrate in previous roles in consulting or start-ups/scale-ups (prioritizing the match with the role over past experience). Apply proven leadership experience, e.g. building and overseeing teams, setting direction, and empowering others to achieve their best. Lead complex enterprise accounts through the sales process, providing clarity and strategic direction to decision-makers. Demonstrate a hands-on mentality, thriving in imperfect and fast-changing environments.
