Summary: Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Business Development Manager – FABCO-Air will support the growth and success of distribution partners and sales channels within their assigned territory. This role involves regular communication with sales channels, active management of regional business activities, and fostering consistent, positive results.
Key Accountabilities:
6. In coordination with the Director of Sales, develop a local strategy for sustainable revenue growth amongst the sales channels in that region
7. Perform the essential functions to support distributor’s daily business and yearly revenue growth which includes: Identification and development of new customers Sales calls with key and prospective customers Product presentations and demonstrations as needed Conducting in person and remote training of distributor staff Development of target customer lists and strategies Developing relationships with customers and distributor personnel
8. Perform essential functions to effectively manage activities and grow overall business in assigned region including: Conducting performance analysis and reviews of assigned distributors Distribute and follow up with sales leads Log, organize, and prioritize opportunities and projects in which they are directly involved Maintain accurate records, including but not limited to sales call reports, expense reports, and other necessary documents Leverage internal reporting and resources to maximize effectiveness
9. Engage with and support Festo sales personnel as a Fabco Product Expert
10. Assist the National Sales Manager with the development/coordination of marketing activities
11. Actively manage call schedules to cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner
12. Attend and request trainings to help improve knowledge and skills as needed
13. Maintain minimum personal vehicle standards outlined by Fabco

Experience / Education Preferred:
24. BS/BA degree preferred
25. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products
26. Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms such as Skype, Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.
27. 2+ Years of related industrial pneumatic and/or distributor sales experience
28. OEM / MRO sales experience desirable
29. Mechanical aptitude a plus
