As the Director of Sales, you will represent Smartly across all verticals in the market, and maintain and develop our culture internally by leading the development of our sales operations and methodology. As a Director, Sales, you will Acquire and maintain a solid understanding of the value proposition of the platform as well as the existing and future needs of new prospects and existing customers Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the EU region, such as expanding into new markets or establishing partnerships Build and manage strategic relationships with senior stakeholders at your clients Drive market growth and help lead sales and strategic partnership efforts with full accountability to deliver revenue Partner with Sales Development, Sales Engineering, Partnership and Customer Success teams to cultivate a successful demonstration of our solution, trial, conversion and retention of customers Build Smartly presence and improve brand awareness in Europe while working closely with our marketing team to build thought leadership, engage in community building and facilitate PR and media relations Maintain a disciplined pipeline with accurate updates to ensure reliable predictability in revenue forecasting Report to the leadership team on progress, insights and needs, leveraging operational prowess with a data-driven test-and-learn mindset Drive recruitment for high caliber team members and develop both junior and senior sales executives to reach new revenue heights Embody the Smartly values and play a lead role to ensure the culture engages employees, resonates locally and is consistent globally We’re looking for you, if you have Have 10 years in Enterprise Sales preferably in Marketing, Media and / or SaaS background Have 5 years of experience growing and managing an enterprise sales team Have experience building connections with people, internally and externally Are comfortable communicating with customers and partners, particularly at all levels including C-Suite Can explain complex concepts in terms of value and successfully attract new business Roll-up your sleeves and get stuff done Strong spoken and written communication skills in German & English Are willing to travel across the EMEA region for meetings, conferences and industry events LI-Hybrid LI-HR1 Meet Smartly Smartly is the AI-powered advertising technology company transforming ad experiences for brands and their consumers.
