Job Summary: In this role, you will play a vital part in designing, developing, and programming methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse "big data" sources, crafting actionable insights and solutions that will positively impact businesses across the company. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development of innovative software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from various sources. - Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and effectively translate them into robust data models, identifying key entities, relationships, attributes, and constraints. - Share significant, actionable insights with collaborators derived from diverse data and metadata sources, making data accessible and impactful. - Adopt continuous learning by staying updated with emerging trends, new technologies, and best practices in the field of data science and analytics. - Foster strong collaboration within cross-functional teams, including business partners, developers, and fellow data scientists, ensuring clear and effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical partners. - Mentor and support team members, promoting an environment of growth and development within the analytics function. Qualifications Qualifications Education: - A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field Experience and Skills: Required: - 4-6 years of relevant experience in data science, specializing in supply chain analytics or engineering fields. - Strong proficiency in data modeling concepts, methodologies, and best practices, creating intuitive and effective data models. - Proficient in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., Python, SQL). - Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks and statistical analysis techniques. - Familiarity with database systems and data warehousing solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a talent for bridging gaps between technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred: - Experience in agile development, SDLC, risk management, including information security, and a working understanding of JIRA. - Experience with PowerBI for data visualization and dashboard creation.
