The Position At Boehringer Ingelheims IT RDM organization, we strive for the best possible ways to help our business serve our patients. We are seeking a (Lead) Business Consultant to support our colleagues in the clinical trial supply organisation. You will be the primary contact point for this important business entity and will be responsible for translating our business' needs into IT language. In this role, you will manage for example our initiative to replace our existing clinical trial supply system landscape with a state-of-the-art cloud system. You will also find the right spots to incorporate their needs into a complex application and technology landscape. This position has the potential to take over the pivotal role of a capability lead, contributing to the Product Owner's vision and shaping the future direction of the clinical trial supply landscape. In your new role you will serve as the prime contact for global Drug Development departments within the Innovation Unit and maintain a direct and consistent relation with them. By using your deep knowledge in business and IT processes you will find the right technical solutions for business needs You will empower our business colleagues by maximizing the business value via meaningful solutions based on your knowledge around state-of-the-art technology, GxP guidelines and agile methodologies. In addition, you will act as interface between the business and IT colleagues from various IT internal support functions. You will support the business to maintain an up-to-date business capability, establish a mid-term IT roadmap based on their as well as IT's strategical needs and derive the related IT activities. As a project lead, you will manage up to high complex IT initiatives from beginning to end on your own responsibility while meeting the goals regarding time, quality and cost. Master's degree in computer science, engineering, chemistry, natural science or Bachelor's degree with multiple years of proven working experience Several years of international working experience in IT or Drug Development departments with knowledge in the following areas: production order, batch trees in context of drug production, modeling of electronic batch records (Technical) Work experience in MES Systems (Ideally on Körber PAS-X) Knowledge and experience of the SmartSignal Supplies - GxP Inventory suite Experience with SAP modules PPI, MM, (E)WM Strong communication skills including capability to create and maintain business relations and working with business partners, vendors and developers Agile mindset driven by openness, respect and continuous learning Fluent language skills in English and German (written and spoken) Additional requirements for the position IT Lead Business Consultant Clinical Trial Supply Demonstrated capability to develop confident appearance even in difficult situations (e.g. conflicting information or objectives) while solving conflicts and building consensus Demonstrated project management capability of successfully implemented complex projects in GxP environments Proven track record of successfully implemented programs covering multiple business and IT domains Proven deep and operative knowledge of clinical trial supply processes in GMP regulated processes This is where you can grow, collaborate, innovate and improve lives.
