Tasks & responsibilities - As legal business partner within cross-functional, international teams, you will take ownership of drafting and negotiating international licensing and collaboration agreements with academic and commercial partners. - You will provide expert guidance on a broad range of legal topics pertinent to a globally operating pharmaceutical company, with a particular emphasis on intellectual property topics and international contract law. - As integral part of a team that values innovation and driven by bringing real value to patients, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from our Global Legal & Compliance function, as well as from Patents, and Business Development & Licensing. Requirements - Experienced lawyer with excellent qualifications - fully qualified lawyer ("Volljuristin") or foreign equivalent - Long-term professional experience, preferably as in-house counsel within the life sciences sector or other innovative industries. Experience at a law firm with clients from these sectors is also highly valued - Comprehensive experience in international contract law and various areas of commercial law relevant to the role, adept in contract structuring and negotiation, as well as identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks - We appreciate team players with strong interpersonal skills, who can influence others, stay committed, and always seek solutions - Profound understanding of economic and strategic aspects, and willingness to assume responsibility - Experience in working within a global environment with the ability to operate in a highly complex matrix environment - Excellent analytical skills with strategic and long-term thinking, ability to analyze and communicate risk and good judgment - Proficient in English and German Ready to contact us?
