WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
Do you thrive with technical challenges, making tough calls, live agility, and burn for people perform? And do you have an interest in complex deployment and system operation for an enterprise system? We are looking for a system architect to be a technical leader for our Deployment and Observability product areas. You will work with deployment and operation, hosting of cloud solutions and driving a transformation from self-hosted to SaaS.
As a Software Architect, you are a technical leader. You collaborate with all roles to enable our engineering teams to deliver the maximum business value. You are part of a team of system architects where you define SimCorp’s Architectural runway with the aim of creating new solutions and keeping existing solutions fit for purpose. You work both with technology, engineering practices, pipelines, and business outcomes.
The overall goal is to build software that enables modern and efficient deployment and operation of our enterprise system SimCorp Dimension and establish a CI/CD flow from code check-in to running production, including orchestration and observability.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
* You own the architectural runway for Deployment and Observability.
* You work with the Director of Engineering and Product Manager to drive execution of an ambitious delivery plan for Operational Efficiency.
* You are responsible for implementing technical leadership within the Product Areas.
* You are responsible for communicating architectural vision, strategy, and making architectural runway transparent both inside and outside of the Product Areas.
* You are a member of the Architecture Guild ensuring aligned architectural strategy and runway across SimCorp.
* You will work with engineering teams to validate the economic impact of design decisions.
* You will be a mentor for Tech Leads within your area.
