Job Description
As an intern / working student (m/f/d) for inverter hardware in our Electrification Engineering Department, you will:
* get insights into processes and structures of an automotive supplier,
* support our team in the development of e-machines, power electronics and battery management systems,
* actively participate in testing of power semiconductors on our HV testbench
* analyze and validate test results,
* further optimize the testing environment (hardware/ software or post-analysis via MATLAB)
* prepare and create technical presentations for various stakeholders.
This position offers the opportunity to significantly enhance your proficiency in power electronics, PCB design, data analysis, and MATLAB simulation, all of which are crucial skills for working in the field of EV powertrain systems.
Qualifications
* You study in an engineering-related program (e.g. electrical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle engineering) and have interest in the automotive industry.
* You are a team player that likes to take on tasks and responsibilities proactively.
* You have fluent skills in written and spoken German and English to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
* You are able to work with Microsoft Office applications to edit documents, handle test data and create presentations.
* You have fundamental knowledge of power electronics
* Ideally, you have basic experience with MATLAB or another script based simulation tool
* You have a driver‘s license (Class B or equivalent) to accompany us on business trips or complete tasks off the company’s premises.
