As part of a succession plan, we are looking for a talented chemical sales engineer to join the Germany based business unit for technical surfactants
The tasks
* Establish strong relationships with key account customers and secure continuous business
* Expand existing client base to further countries
* Explore and win new business in growing markets such as Asia/US
* Close internal cooperation e.g. with product management, R&D, production, quality and customer service
* Managing the entire sales-cycle from testing to contract negotiations with different customer contacts
Your profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical engineering, commercial engineering or similar
* Several years of experience in sales | business development | key account management within the Chemicals industry (OEM or supplier)
* Know-how in the field of water miscible industrial (metalworking) fluids would be a “nice to have”, but is not a must
* A curious, proactive salesperson who combines a hunter mentality with stamina and patience and who loves to travel
* Based in BeNeLux or Germany to be close to customers and colleagues
* Business fluent in spoken and written German (B2) and English
