Description We are seeking an experienced Multi-Area Broadcast Technical Coordinator to join our Communication and Publishing Department. The purpose of this role is to coordinate the technical aspects of productions and messages that invite all of God's children to follow Jesus Christ. In this position, you will ensure that live productions inspire hearts and minds while providing professional and trusted logistical vision, production management, and leadership in high-profile events and broadcasts. This position will require collaboration across departments, providing creative solutions and managing production teams for both Area and Multi-Area/Regional needs. Responsibilities AV Technical Expert (30%) : Assist customers and producers by providing creative solutions for high-profile events, advising on venue limitations and equipment capabilities. Build and coordinate teams with the right skills and equipment to meet production needs for complex events and broadcasts. Provide audiovisual support for Church events, including meetings, conferences, concerts, and broadcasts. Execute current best practices in broadcast technologies and theatrical systems. Production Manager (40%) : Help producers prepare accurate bids based on production scope and schedules for key events. Schedule and supervise production crews, managing teams of 20-40 contracted individuals. Ensure crew scheduling software reflects project timelines and oversee the quality of work delivered by team members. Manage logistical needs, including contracts, locations, travel, permits, and other production requirements. Communication Hub (30%) : Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with producers, technical crews, and key stakeholders. Communicate project status, performance feedback, and ensure that production objectives align with producers' visions. Collaborate closely with Production Managers, Schedulers, and service partners to secure the right resources for each project. Interact professionally with clients, senior management, artists, and technical experts, ensuring that all broadcast success criteria are met. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience. 6 years of experience in theatrical, broadcast, and events production. Deep understanding of event production, including technical direction, stage management, lighting, sound reinforcement, video projection, camera/video engineering, and intercommunication systems. Proficiency with project management software and tools. Ability to work independently, take direction, and efficiently perform tasks with minimal supervision. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, with the flexibility to travel internationally on short notice. Must possess and maintain a current temple recommend for access to sacred Church resources. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for delivering high levels of customer service. Physical ability to perform production tasks, including lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and standing for long periods. The position homebase is in Frankfurt, Germany and frequent travel is required. Possibility to work remotely from one of Europe Central Area Countries.
