We want to work with a flexible and enthusiastic individual who will be required to support the development of our European vehicles locally as well as globally - jointly with our teams in our headquarter in China.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.
Job Overview:
The HR Generalist will play a critical role in supporting our HR department and ensuring the smooth functioning of various HR processes. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded HR background with a focus on employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, training, and compliance. This position requires a strong ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
* Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create effective recruitment strategies.
* Conduct full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates.
* Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
Employee Relations:
* Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, addressing HR-related inquiries and concerns.
* Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
* Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by fostering open communication and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
Performance Management:
* Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and performance improvement plans.
* Provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues and support employee development initiatives.
Training and Development:
* Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
* Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities for employees.
HR Administration and Compliance:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files.
* Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
* Assist in preparing and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Employee Engagement:
* Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and company events.
* Proactively contribute to enhancing the overall employee experience.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* more than 2 years of relevant experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role in Germany.
* In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws in Germany.
* Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
* Relevant HR certifications and speaking Mandarin are a plus.
