In dieser Rolle verantworten Sie den Bereich Produktentwicklung Electric Actuators innerhalb unserer Business Unit Electric Automation, der sich aus mehreren Entwicklungsteams an unserem Headquarter in Esslingen sowie an unseren Auslandsstandorten (in China, USA und der Schweiz) zusammensetzt.
Your job:
1. Disciplinary management of the development teams in the Electric Actuators product line at the Esslingen site as well as technical management of the associated teams at the foreign sites
2. Technical responsibility for the Electric Actuators product portfolio (axes, cylinders, grippers and mechatronic systems) over the entire product life cycle in close coordination with product line management as well as product and project management
3. Responsibility for the efficient further development of an innovative product portfolio at the global development sites
4. Ensuring the expansion and development of the necessary resources and skills within the global development footprint and coordinating development projects in the international teams
5. Promoting innovative strength and ensuring innovative product design through the targeted use of new technologies and (agile) methods
6. Driving forward technology developments and supporting team leaders as a sparring partner with regard to the technical feasibility of new concepts
Your qualification:
7. Completed technical studies, e.g. in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation or a comparable degree
8. Several years of experience in the management of executives and in the product development of mechanical products for industrial applications, ideally in an international group
9. Ideally experience in the development of mechatronic products including electronics, software and system engineering as well as in agile development methods
10. Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
11. Strong methodological and coaching skills with regard to the systematic, structured development of concepts and their implementation in series products
12. Ability to deal with conflict, assertiveness and strong decision-making skills
13. Passion for technical innovations
14. Empathy combined with the ability to inspire employees and empower teams
15. Willingness to travel (approx. 20%) and intercultural competence
Part of the selection process is an assessment centre.
