Description
The Reward Lead manages the delivery of reward expertise, solutions and operational support, in line with business strategy, within the Reward function. They are responsible for the delivery of the Reward activities across a range of global reward and recognition policies and processes such as pay, bonus and shares, benefits and recognition and local reward policies and processes where applicable. Typically reports to the Senior Reward Manager.
* Manages policy and programmes that recognise, attract, reward, recognise and retain critical capabilities needed to achieve Vodafone's strategic goals and business objectives;
* Provides excellent operational support and expert advice to HR and business colleagues in the execution of Reward activities;
* Reward activities may include Annual Reward Review cycle, International Mobility administration, Benefits administration, Ad-hoc reward activities and projects, Recognition, Maintenance of data and reporting dashboards;
* Maintains alignment to reward policies and procedures to ensure compliance across the local market. Direct responsibility to monitor, maintain, implement and enhance reward policies, programmes and procedures;
* Demonstrates strong communication and diplomacy skills to ensure the local market adheres to the reward and recognition elements of the annual people plan and HR calendar;
* Draws on best practice knowledge and understanding to help influence future thinking around Reward and Recognition practices;
* Proactively builds knowledge and competence in reward and recognition to develop and enhance understanding beyond own function and demonstrates commercial awareness.May provide informal guidance to junior staff.
