As part of the Airbus team, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Ensuring a coherent product configuration (requirements, development, production) throughout the entire life cycle of the product through the creation and implementation of KM and SW-KM rules and processes.
* The activity includes the handling of national and international projects on the ground Support Systems & Services program area as configuration manager in close cooperation with the project teams.
* Consolidated and coherent product information and delivery and compatibility.
* Requirement, development, production throughout the entire life cycle of the product frozen baselines and status reports.
* Creation and implementation of the configuration management (KM) plan and the operation of the PLM tools for product configuration and validation of suppliers and partners’ KM plans.
* Planning, controlling and implementing KM and SW-KM activities for national and international project activities.
* Definition and definition of KM interfaces (internal and external).
* Ensuring the collection, publication, storage and access to product & Project data, drawing sets, documents and software data.
* Internal and external control of changes to product information and implementation of release boards and change control boards.
* Providing coherent product information via baselines (K status) and KM reports (to-build / asbuilt).
* Conducting configuration management audits, checking design compliance and the characteristics of the manufactured product with the contractual and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct metrics analysis and provide results and critical trends.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace or industrial engineering.
* Several years of experience (at least 3 years) in configuration management (KM) and SW-KM.
* SAP at least knowledge of detailed functions.
* Knowledge of SAP PLM / Windchill PLM is an advantage.
* Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German will be an advantage.
