As Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) you will support the Business Unit Germany and all respective Fluence functions in managing and mastering their legal challenges, in particular on large-scale projects. In other words, you will be a lawyer in a broad and customer-facing role and all of us are responsible for great customer service. The job location for this role is in Berlin or Erlangen. Your responsibilities: - Supporting the deal teams on complex tenders and projects during the sales phase - Drafting and negotiating a large variety of contracts, in particular supply, EPC, service, procurement and other commercial agreements - Supporting the delivery teams and claim managers on potential claims and disputes during the project execution phase - Working on international corporate initiatives as well as on a wide variety of other matters that come across the table of an inhouse lawyer Your skills & qualifications: - Fully qualified lawyer (first and second state exam, at least “befriedigend”) - Generalist background with at least 7 years of experience in drafting and negotiating complex project agreements - Experience in industrial equipment, construction or utility projects – experience in the renewable energy or energy storage sector is very welcomed - Excellent judgment, both in business and interpersonal matters - Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility and a highly self-motivated work style - Ability and willingness to act as lead negotiator, take responsibility and make decisions - Impeccable ethics and commitment to compliance and safety - Business fluency in German and English Most Fluence people wear multiple hats.
