What you can expect
We are looking for a temporary parental leave replacement as Head of Marketing (m/f/d) until autumn 2025. In this role you will be part of our management team, will report directly to our CRO and take full ownership of the marketing budget. Your tasks in particular:
* You will lead the marketing strategy and serve as the go-to person for all marketing-related matters.
* You will head the planning, implementation, optimization and evaluation of all marketing activities (B2C & B2B) for all our camping booking platforms.
* You are responsible for the prioritization of resources and projects to make sure that we are hitting our ambitious targets.
* You will lead an international team of motivated people and freelancers/agencies and ensure an efficient workflow and proper communication between and across all channels.
* You will also head our customer support team.
* You will optimize existing and develop new growth strategies with the aim to accelerate our business in the different markets.
* You will foster the network and collaboration with relevant stakeholders at our mother companies.
What you should bring
* Proven track record in a leading marketing role, preferably within a digital startup or fast-paced environment.
* Marketing experience running successful marketing campaigns with broad knowledge across the full marketing mix of channels.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Growth and experimental mindset and experienced with setting growth hacking strategies.
* Strategic thinking with a creative mindset and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* You are an excellent verbal and written communicator in German and English.
* Ideally, you are a camping fan yourself and are familiar with the subject.
