Currently we have a position as R&D Manager Chlorine Systems (m/f/d) Location: Günzburg, Germany – Hybrid working may be possible but onsite is preferred. The R&D Manager Chlorine Systems (m/f/d) leads an engineering team (up to 10 team members) and is responsible for developing, implementing & supporting a range of disinfection products based on our chemical (Chlorine) disinfection portfolio. Responsibilities: Leadership Lead a team of technical experts and engineers (m/f/d) to deliver the services described below. Develop and maintain technology & product roadmaps in collaboration with the product management team. Product Development & Implementation Collaborate with other engineers and scientists (m/f/d) to develop new technologies and solutions. Develop new products according to the global market requirements. Implement the products into relevant factories world-wide. Ensure all legal requirements are met for putting the product onto the market including certifications and approvals where required. Product Support Provide deep technical support for the products already in production including major sustaining engineering projects the maintain the existing portfolio. Project / Budget Management Manage the chlorine systems portfolio, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure smooth project execution. Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders. Safety and Environmental Compliance Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures in the design and operation of chemical processes & participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field with at least 5-10 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and working practices. Knowledge and experience of water disinfection treatment technologies is essential. Knowledge and experience of Chlorine systems products is highly desirable. Advanced knowledge of product development processes. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent German & English skills.
