We want to strengthen our team and are looking for a highly committed and motivated person to join us as soon as possible
Magdeburg Zoo maintains an excellent animal population with more than 700 individuals from 160 animal species, including many endangered or critically endangered species. Our mission: species conservation with everyday relevance, education through fascination, recreation through experiencing nature and research for understanding. We are committed to species conservation and participate in numerous EAZA ex-situ programmes and in-situ conservation projects. The implementation of the EAZA Best Practice Guidelines and the promotion of education and research are very important to us. In recent years, we have implemented extensive, near-natural enclosures for African elephants, ungulates, vultures, carnivores, primates and a wild animal release station, which offer our 300,000 annual visitors an exciting and fascinating zoo adventure. Only together can we preserve biodiversity! Support us in further developing and shaping Magdeburg Zoo.
