Key performance areas: We are seeking you as a highly skilled and experienced Global People Development Expert with a strategic and global perspective. With a clear focus on the Learning and Development strategy based on the company strategy, you ensure the delivery of our development activities at Walter globally. Across Walter, you will guide and execute projects, processes, and activities around Learning, Competencies Development, Assessment, Leadership Development, Talent Management, Performance Management and related aspects within the Global Learning and Development Team. This role involves collaboration with various departments and requires a strategic mindset and strong people and leadership skills. In this position, your main responsibility is to drive forward Walter’s global people development efforts. Key objectives include: Competence Development: Develop and implement competency models to identify essential skills, knowledge, and behaviors required for various roles Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives to enhance employee competencies Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of competency development programs and make necessary adjustments Identify appropriate learning approach, adept and develops learning activities Talent Management: Develop career paths and Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for employees to support their professional growth Create succession plans to ensure continuity and leadership development Implement strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction Provide professional expertise and support in the implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent Performance Management: Implement and manage the performance management system, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals Train HR, managers and employees on performance management processes and tools Engagement Surveys: Develop and administer employee engagement surveys to gather feedback on workplace culture and employee satisfaction Analyze survey data and present findings to senior management Collaborate with HR and other departments to implement changes based on survey results Design and implementation of cultural development and reward programs Leadership Programs: Design and implement leadership development programs to build leadership capabilities within the organization Identify high-potential employees and provide them with targeted development opportunities Monitor and evaluate the impact of leadership programs on employee performance and organizational success Equip managers to develop their people. Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with the HR team and other departments to align talent management and development initiatives with organizational goals Stay updated with the latest trends in employee engagement and propose innovative ideas for improvement Regularly report to management on the progress and outcomes of development and talent management programs Support that organization-wide talent management and Performance Management initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness Your Profile Our preferred candidate should have a strong People Development background and have a bachelor’s degree or higher. 5 to 10 years of broad HR experience including talent management and performance management are the best preparation for the job. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey development plans and initiatives. Delivers constructive feedback Strong interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders and build effective working relationships Organizational Skills: Efficiently managing multiple global projects and tasks simultaneously and paying attention to detail Designing and delivering effective training programs and workshops globally Identifying and nurturing high-potential employees in our Talent Management. Conduct and develop assessment with the use of different tools Cultural Awareness: Understanding and respecting diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives. Good understanding of international matrix environment. Experience in a Global company with cross-cultural experience would be a plus Coaching experience and would be a plus with facilitation experience Experience in designing, developing, and supporting organization-wide competence development, talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management Strong experience and interest in people development, competence development and assessment tools Valuable experience working in organizational development in a large organizational and/or functional business unit Fluency in both German and English Benefits: Join our team We value collaboration, drive innovation, and take your career to the next level.
